Pet Policy

Requirements:

IF A PROPERTY ALLOWS PETS, pets must be at least one-year-old. Limit two pets max. ALL pets/assistance animals must be screened at petscreening.com – no exceptions will be made. With approval, we require a one-time $200 non-refundable Pet Fee per pet due upon lease signing, and a monthly pet rent of $35 per pet.

Pet/Assistance Animal Policy and Screening:

Each property owner is allowed to set their own pet policy. Though most Home Realty & Management properties do allow a pet, please see the property listing to determine if the home you’re interested in allows pets. Breeds with a disposition for aggressive behavior are prohibited. Be prepared to provide a picture of your pet and vaccination records. An additional monthly pet fee, one-time pet fee and deposit, or combination thereof may be required. Check the specific listing for details.

If you have a pet, there is a pet screening fee of $20 (no charge for assistance animal screening) for the first pet and $15 for the second pet. Pricing subject to change. Pet screening is administered by a third-party company, petscreening.com. Applicants are required to complete a separate pet screening for each of their pets or assistance animals prior to applying for any of our properties.

Your pet screening will automatically be shared with Home Realty & Management Management. Follow this link to start your pet screening petscreening.com. We reserve the right to deny applicants with pets, and limit the number of pets to two. The following dogs will be denied: Pit Bull, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Akita, Alaskan Malamute, American Bulldog, Bullmastiff, Mastiff, Chow, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Siberian Husky, Wolf Hybrid, or any dog that is a mix that includes one or more of these breeds. Tenants may be evicted for misrepresenting any of the above type of dog, as well as for being in possession of any poisonous, dangerous, endangered species or otherwise unauthorized animal. No aquariums larger than 10 gallons allowed. No ferrets, reptiles, birds, or rodents of any kind are permitted. Our animal policies are strictly enforced and can be grounds for eviction.
